This build includes many improvements including support for IBL channels, groundPlane node, layer node & scattering improvements, more responsive IPR with better firefly removal, as well as many bug fixes.
It also introduces the first version of our Bella for Rhino plugin, which supports both Windows & MacOS:
This initial iteration of the plugin is designed to be as easy to use as possible, translating native Rhino settings, materials, environments, and so forth, with rendering directly in the viewport, or in the render buffer (or externally, in the Bella GUI if preferred).
From this point we will be exposing Bella-specific materials and other nodes in Rhino, followed by support for Bella nodes in Grasshopper. We invite all who wish to do so, to join in and give feedback as these things are implemented.
Here is an image demonstrating deep improvements in the bella layer node, which now internally supports true refraction and TIR (total internal reflection) within the virtual layer. These cup meshes have no thickness:
